This pair has done WONDERS to my hair. Cleans super well, lathers and spreads nicely, and leave my hair silky soft. The best part, other than the color protection, is that it somehow has prevented my hair from tangling. I fight tangles SO badly with my thick, but fine hair. I don’t even have to use a leave in conditioner after washing with this because my brush just glides through my hair! It doesn’t leave any residue and smells great!

This is by far, the worst shampoo I have ever used. It does not lather at all, not even if you put it into water and then rub it around. It just rolls around like it's allergic to the stuff. The FAQs will say it's because it's "sulfate-free", but I've been using sulfate-free shampoos for almost two decades now and I've never has one like this.

Since it doesn't lather, you have to use so much product in order to try to clean your hair. I typically wash my hair every other day and with other brands, that's fine. With this one, if you use a normal amount of shampoo, your hair will be greasy and disgusting shortly within a few hours. I'm using at least three times more product with this shampoo than I do with other brands. It's so much waste just to get clean.

I did not have this issue with the Silver Maria Nila shampoo, so I don't know what's wrong with this formula, but stay as far away from it as possible. The conditioner and hair masque in the Luminous Color line are amazing, so if you can find a different shampoo to compliment with these, you're golden, but stay as far away from this shampoo as possible.
